Local Wildlife - winchester

Visit some of the fantastic nature reserves surrounding Winchester. The abundance of wildlife is protected by the fantastic National Trust and local charitable organisations. Hats off to all the hardworking individuals who keep the wildlife thriving in green areas. The Winchester City Mill re-introduced three otters into The River Itchen in 1994 and since then they have thrived. Enjoy the many videos of the otters in the Winchester City Mill museum and if you're lucky, you'll spot one yourself.
