Romantic Activities - Winchester

A lovely evening activity is to take the Sunset Walk up to the top of St. Giles Hill with a picnic. Watch the sun set over Winchester city with a view of all the iconic Winchester buildings while enjoying some traditional British finger sandwiches and a glass of bubbly. Hire tandems from The Brooks shopping centre and take a bike tour along The South Downs way starting at King Alfred's statue. Or follow the footsteps of John Keat, the romantic poet, who walked the route daily taking you from Winchester City Centre towards Hospital of St. Cross, a gorgeous building with large gardens to walk around.
